Job Summary
Perform vulnerability scans on undersea combat platforms and their support networks. Execute security analyses of operational and developmental environments to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interface weaknesses. Develop, implement, and test mitigations and countermeasures to protect the submarine fleet from real-world cyber threats. Operate Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) technology to collect and analyze log data, detecting and reporting potential security incidents. Apply cyber threat intelligence to address malware, phishing, and advanced persistent threats. Analyze identified malicious activity to determine exploitation methods and system effects. This role supports AMERICAN SYSTEMS' strategic solutions in Information Technology and Test & Evaluation for national priority programs. Applicants must hold an active Secret Clearance, possess U.S. citizenship, and meet specific SkillBridge eligibility requirements including 180 days of active military service.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to participate in a SkillBridge program
- Must have 90 days of military service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and have at least 180 continuous days of active military service
- Must have approval from your unit commander to participate in a SkillBridge program
- Active Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
