Job Summary
As the SkillBridge Career Placement Manager for NPower SkillBridge, you’ll build and grow relationships with employers, staffing firms, and talent partners that hire graduates, source aligned cybersecurity/IT/GovCon roles, and coach transitioning service members through resumes, interviews, and branding to translate training into civilian tech careers. You’ll represent NPower SkillBridge at career fairs and events across the region, track placements and outcomes in Salesforce, identify business development opportunities to hand off to the business development team, and travel within the West region (remote with required in-person travel). The role requires three+ years of experience in workforce development or employer relations, experience working with veterans or military-connected populations, strong communication skills, and comfort with Salesforce and LinkedIn. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is nice-to-have, along with familiarity with SkillBridge programs.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in workforce development, career services, business development, or employer relations focused on job placement
- Experience working with active-duty service members, veterans, or military-connected populations
- Clear and persuasive communication skills, from one-on-one coaching to conversations with senior executives
- Organizational skills and proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and LinkedIn
