Job Summary
DoD SkillBridge Aviation Maintenance Intern: Join Dynamic Aviation as an intern to further develop aviation maintenance skills under seasoned A&P mechanics. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical manuals and guidelines, diagnosing mechanical/electrical problems, repairing aircraft systems, inspecting and maintaining aircraft per company and regulatory standards, maintaining repair logs, modifying aircraft structures or components per drawings and technical publications, and assembling/installing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components using hand/power tools. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, adherence to safety and quality standards, and contribution to a diverse set of customers. Schedule is Monday–Friday 0700-1600 with a 40-hour work week limit; internship pays hourly and offers no guaranteed job at conclusion. Requires high school education or GED, willingness to learn, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and provision of personal tools by program end. The internship operates under SkillBridge, providing civilian work experience while the service member remains on military pay and benefits during the program.

- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to crawl in and out of tight spaces
- Lift, balance and carry 50lbs
- Crawl in/out of tight spaces
- Work at elevated heights of at least 40 feet for extended periods
- Work in enclosed hangars and exterior weather conditions
