Job Summary
Repair and maintain stamping dies and tooling while troubleshooting issues and fabricating replacement components. Inspect tooling for wear and damage, operate surface grinders, manual mills, and lathes to work to close tolerances. Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Maintain repair records and operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. This Temp-to-Hire role in Maple Shade, NJ, includes a 6AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday schedule with Saturday overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of surface grinding experience
- 3-5 years of manual machining experience (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
- Experience with ID and OD machining
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs consistently
- Ability to stand and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift
- Must be able to work 6AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday
- Must be available for overtime on Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of GD&T preferred
- Tool & Die Maker experience preferred
