Job Summary
Greet guests and handle storage and retrieval of skis, snowboards, and boots with care while maintaining a clean and organized ski valet area. Operate point-of-sale systems accurately for rental transactions and offer friendly advice on ski conditions and mountain navigation. Ensure guest belongings are stored securely, remain calm in fast-paced environments, and respond proactively to needs. Work outdoors on your feet for at least eight hours daily in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. This role represents the high standards of Big Sky hospitality, creating an unforgettable first and last impression for guests.
Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellent guest service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with ski and snowboard equipment
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to work on your feet at least 8 hours a day
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
