Job Summary
Greet customers with enthusiasm, assess their equipment needs based on skill level and preferences, and provide expert advice on ski gear and related products. Perform high-quality tunes, mounting, adjustments, and repairs in accordance with company and industry guidelines while following all safety protocols for tool and equipment use. Accurately complete work order documentation, ensure pricing accuracy including promotional specials, and maintain loss prevention standards through proper cash handling and inventory management. Stay current on industry trends by participating in product knowledge clinics or training camps to offer tailored recommendations on in-store merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with ski and/or snowboard tuning
- Minimum 1 year of service technician experience
- Background in retail and customer service
- Strong selling skills
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn the point-of-sale/register system
