Job Summary
Tune skis, snowboards, and lease equipment including edge grinding and base work, aiming for a 48-hour turnaround. Mount bindings to proper DIN specifications using certified tools, test adjusted gear, and verify boot depth requirements. Communicate equipment issues to store management and complete required paperwork. Maintain the workspace and equipment daily. This seasonal, full-time role runs October through April with flexibility for sales floor support.
Required Qualifications
- current certifications to mount bindings from each of our manufacturers
- proficiency in the use of a Grindrite ski tuner (or something similar)
- proficiency in the use of an edge grinder
- proficiency in the use of a base waxer
- understanding of and abidance of the annually updated indemnification chart
- ski and boot sales experience
