Job Summary
Teach ski lessons following CSIA methodology to clients in a group setting, planning lesson content, and evaluating participants. Maintain safety and provide positive guest relations; collaborate with program staff and handle incidents per school policies. Requires CSIA Level 2 or international equivalent and prior ski instructing or leadership experience. Part-time role for the winter season (December to early April) with 5 consecutive days over Christmas and 1–2 days per week thereafter; starting wage $23/hour with incentives; on-site in Kelowna, BC. Criminal record checks required; foreign nationals must secure a working holiday visa.
Required Qualifications
- CSIA Level 2 or above (or international equivalent)
- Previous ski instructing experience or experience working in a leadership setting
- Cover letter and resume with two references and certifications
- Preference for additional certifications: CASI Level 1 or above (or international equivalent)
- Ability to pass Criminal Record Checks due to interaction with minors
- Ability to carry 40lbs/18kg and work in extreme alpine conditions
- Availability for full winter season including Christmas break and up to 15 hours/week
