Job Summary
Supervise operations of Ski and Ride School Reservations Staff, indoor and outdoor facilities, and assist with guest lesson questions. Manage scheduling, assign work, handle disciplinary actions, conduct performance reviews, oversee hiring and termination, and lead training for up to 10 employees. Focus on quality of lessons, guest relations, and staff performance while fostering a culture of learning and inclusivity. Access daily schedules and company notices electronically, and support the Sustainable Transportation Program by utilizing alternative transportation or the employee shuttle. Work weekends and holidays as required, with non-peak days from 7:45am to 4:30pm and peak days from 7:30am to 5:00pm. This seasonal role supports Eldora's commitment to delivering memorable outdoor adventures and protecting the environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School degree or equivalent
- 2 years' experience working in a supervisory role
- Experience working in a Ski and Ride School
- Ability to pass a background check by company standards
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations
- Must love working with people
- Must be able to communicate effectively with adults to build trust and respect
- Must be able to access daily schedules and company notices electronically
- Must be able to ski and ride well
- Must have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Must be able to support Eldora's corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to work calmly in stressful situations
- Must be able to handle extreme cold, extreme heat and sun exposure
- Must be able to handle variation in temperature from hot to cold
- Must be able to bend, reach, climb, push, pull & prolonged standing
- Must have eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment
- Must have concentrated reading and writing skills
- Must be able to perform scheduling and assigning work

Desired Qualifications
- Point of sale and software system exposure, ideally with Siruisware, Flaik, ADP, and/or Microsoft Office
- Have a desire to learn and develop personal skills by attending our free, ongoing ski & snowboard training
- Ability to ski and ride well, but we are looking for a 'people person' who has the desire to develop their personal skiing and/or riding skills
