Job Summary
Respond to customer requests regarding Kawasaki semiconductor system applications and serve as the technical focal point for internal and external inquiries. Lead prototype design projects by providing technical guidance to mechanical, electrical, software, and prototype teams to meet committed timelines. Deliver field support at customer sites during initial system startup, including domestic or overseas travel. Maintain systems for semiconductor industry applications through development, testing, and ongoing maintenance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of technical experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be able to work for any U.S. employer and do not require visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years' technical experience working on semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Experience with 3D and 2D CAD software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to understand & articulate complex technical concepts in presentation format
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Must be able to lift, carry, push & pull up to 25 pounds unassisted
- Able to sit, stand, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Ability to use common mechanical tools including but not limited to screw drivers, hex keys, torque wrench
- Attendance is a requirement of this position
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in an engineering position in automation or semiconductor industry
- Experience with semiconductor EFEM.
- Experience with system design in semiconductor fab environment.
