Job Summary
Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects across manufacturing operations, utilizing advanced statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to drive sustainable improvements. Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies while identifying and prioritizing process improvement opportunities that align with strategic business objectives. Develop and implement control plans to ensure the long-term sustainability of solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Six Sigma principles into daily operations. This role requires a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with at least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading complex improvement projects
- Demonstrated expertise in applying a comprehensive range of Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DFSS)
- Proficiency in statistical tools (ANOVA, Regression, DOE)
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to drive significant operational improvements, evidenced by quantifiable results in areas such as cost reduction, yield improvement, and lead time reduction
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Experience mentoring Green Belts and leading cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
- Experience deploying AI/ML solutions within a manufacturing context
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior-level Black Belts
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for advanced analytics
