Job Summary
Six Sigma Black Belt with Lean expertise focused on solving complex problems using DOE and Process Capability, leading cross-functional teams, and coaching manufacturing, design, and quality engineers. Responsible for Design of Experiments, Process Capability (Cpk, Ppk), Statistical Process Control, and Design for Manufacturability/Assembly as part of continuous improvement in product and process design. Leads Kaizen events, develops business cases for improvement opportunities aligned with strategy, and institutionalizes Lean within the Continuous Improvement Department. Requires mentoring and training across engineering and production leadership, building standard data capture processes, and supporting Lean initiatives with cycle/lead time analyses and visual management. Targeted salary range $140,000-$150,000 plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Systems, or Continuous Improvement
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from a reputable organization is required
- Green Belt may be acceptable based extensive demonstrable experience
- Statistics qualifications a plus
- At least 3 years of proven experience in the Lean Six Sigma world
- Manufacturing and office processes experience
- Product/Process Design experience a plus
- Extensive DOE knowledge experience
- Extensive process capability knowledge and experience
- Extensive experience in teaching others in the above
- Extensive experience in coaching others the above
- Dynamic presentation/coaching skills
- Analytical skills
- Ability to do all hand calculations
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Minitab and Excel
