Job Summary
Delta Group’s SIU Investigator conducts and documents insurance-claims investigations for diverse lines (notably workers’ compensation) by performing interviews, collecting evidence, and maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities include conducting timely investigations with claimants, witnesses, and employers; providing status updates to case managers and clients; ensuring accuracy and timeliness of evidence; developing investigative action plans; determining additional evidence needs (e.g., police reports, accident reconstructions, expert opinions); and delivering findings to Claim Adjusters. The role requires strong analytical skills, independence, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, with preferred credentials of CFE or FCLS and 5-10 years of experience in claims/SIU investigations.
