SIU Field Investigator

Special Investigator (SIU Field Investigator) role focusing on basic to moderately complex investigations into potentially suspect or inflated auto, workers’ compensation, and commercial claims. Primary duties include compiling and analyzing information from internal and external sources, conducting interviews, hiring independent contractors, conducting scene investigations or examinations, reviewing documents for legitimacy, preparing summaries and action recommendations, and coordinating with law enforcement and claim staff. The position supports investigations across all lines of business, with a Greensboro/High Point, NC-centric geographical scope and a work-from-home setup with travel within the area. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to travel as required. Spanish and English language ability is preferred, and prior experience with law enforcement, claims handling, and/or criminal investigation is advantageous.
