SIU Field Investigator

As a SIU Field Investigator, conduct basic to moderately complex claims investigations on potentially suspect/inflated auto, workers’ compensation, and commercial claims, including collecting/analyzing information from internal and external sources, conducting interviews, hiring independent contractors, and referring claims to law enforcement when required. Investigate claims across all lines of business, perform scene investigations, take recorded statements and examinations under oath, compile and analyze data to aid in suspect claims decisions, verify document legitimacy, and prepare summary reports for management. Maintain detailed investigation notes, use SIU case management systems, and communicate with fraud agencies and claim staff. May represent the company in court appearances as a witness. Collaboration with claim staff and law enforcement is essential. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience (4+ preferred), travel ability, and strong investigative, communication, and data-analysis skills. Bilingual Spanish and English preferred. Location preference is Greensboro, NC with remote/hybrid work arrangement and travel in the surrounding area.
