Job Summary
Create, edit, and format technical and non-technical documentation to support SITEC-3 operations at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. Plan, design, and develop detailed forms, documentation, and references for technical programs and processes. Collaborate with subject-matter experts and developers to document specifications, design features, and operations of technical processes and solutions. Write user manuals, help systems, and other technical documents while interviewing personnel to ensure content accuracy. Design and format documents using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, and work with graphic designers to develop visual aids. Assess the intended audience and adjust writing style accordingly. Participate in multi-disciplinary projects and content development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years with HS
- 4 years with AS/AA
- 2 years with BS/BA
- 0 years with MS/MA
- A DoD TS/SCI or above clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in technical writing preferred
