Job Summary
Engineer enterprise RF networks operating in UHF, L, C, and Ku frequency bands while establishing and operating RF network test facilities. Conduct site surveys, document RF coverage, and design RF circuits with analysis. Lead requirements analysis, design, and development of complex information systems for USSOCOM and SOF missions. Perform maintenance of software, hardware, and networks, and provide high-level technical expertise. Work with vendors, the Government, carriers, and technical staff on RF network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management. Maintain detailed systems documentation including user and technical manuals. Requires DoD TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years experience with BS, and 3+ years in RF engineering. Located at Camp H.M. Smith, HI.
Required Qualifications
- B S + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experience
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- At minimum of 3 years' experience in Radio Frequency Engineering
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of using spectrum analyzers
