Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and manage network and desktop infrastructure by troubleshooting technical issues, installing operating systems, and performing hardware repairs. Provide end-user support through database problem solving, IMACs services, and data migration while managing software licensing and vendor coordination. Analyze hardware and software standardization to optimize system performance. Some positions require shift work or non-standard schedules to support global USSOCOM mission operations.
Required Qualifications
- BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 yrs of experience
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification
- background in information systems development, network operations, application performance in a client/server environment, or related fields
- management of help desks in a multi-user environment
- comprehensive understanding of PC operating systems
- working knowledge of network and electronic mail operations
- prior supervision of help desk employees
- ability to work a non-standard work schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Compliance with DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 411 - Intermediate level or higher
