Job Summary
Manage Tier one and two network support for USSOCOM's Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract, administering network and communications systems including WAN and LAN routing, switching, and encryption devices. Engineer, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructures, Point-to-Point circuits, satellite connectivity, and Virtual Local Area Networks while troubleshooting voice, data, and transmission networks. Provision and monitor Virtual Private Network services to securely connect remote elements and mission partners, ensuring compliance with DoD and USSOCOM policies. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals, manage software licensing and inventory, and coordinate with external providers to restore circuit outages. Perform break/fix support, defense, and management of network hardware and software to maintain global operations around the clock.
Required Qualifications
- BS + 2 years of experience OR HS with 6 years of experience OR AA with 4 years of experience
- DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Required certification: DoDD 01-M IAT II
- General experience includes background in information systems development, network operations, application performance in a client/server environment, or related fields
- Specialized experience includes the management of help desks in a multi-user environment, a comprehensive understanding of PC operating systems, a working knowledge of network and electronic mail operations and prior supervision of help desk employees
- Prior experience Implementing network security access
- Prior experience with Virtual Local Area Network

- Must be DoW 8140 under the Work Role Code 411 –Technical Support Specialist - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26.
