Job Summary
Facilitate on-the-job training for new, existing, and inexperienced employees on warehouse floor operations, forklift duties, RF scanners, and inventory systems. Educate staff on safety procedures and equipment use while maintaining training logs and assisting with material creation. Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products, load and unload materials, stack items, and pick orders for shipment. Pack parcels and LTL/TL carriers, affix shipping labels per DOT and IATA regulations, and ensure outbound shipments are accurate. Measure, weigh, and count products, record order information, and follow product rotation procedures. Review daily production reports, participate in inventory counts, and report missing items or quality variances. Perform daily safety inspections and ensure the facility remains inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
- Minimum 6 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
