Job Summary
Oversee 24-hour daily Supported Community Living sites for adults with intellectual disabilities or chronic mental health illness by providing direct support, assistance, and instruction to improve personal growth and independence. Partner with Direct Support Professionals as a resource for programming, documentation, training, and scheduling questions while managing direct care hours and administrative duties. Work primarily weekday 2nd shift (2:30pm to 10:30pm) with occasional day and weekend shifts, including a rotating on-call schedule requiring proximity to the service area. Maintain a valid driver's license and pass extensive background checks covering Dependent Adult, Child Abuse, and Sex Offender registries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year experience in human services, education or human services related field
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in human services, education or human services related field
- Related associate's degree
- Two years experience (with associate's degree)
- High school diploma or GED with four years experience
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Good driving record
- Ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check
- Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30pm to 10:30pm)
- Opportunity for occasional day and weekend shifts
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes select weekends
