Job Summary
Site Surveyor role on XYZ Reality projects involves establishing primary and secondary control on-site using a Robotic Total Station to support the use of the Atom AR headset. Daily tasks include traversing/resection to establish controls, conducting on-site inspections to verify installations against BIM models, producing inspection reports, coordinating with contractors in meetings, reviewing data for accuracy, and contributing to weekly lookaheads with the master construction programme to de-risk field installations. The role requires experience with construction surveying, Robotic Total Stations, familiarity with 3D software (Revit, Navisworks, BIM/BIM360), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel/relocate for major construction projects; security requirements include background checks and drug tests. Required Qualifications
- Experience in construction surveying or engineering surveying
- Strong experience using Robotic Total Stations for construction layout and control
- Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is preferred
- Knowledge related to 3D software (Revit, Navisworks etc) or BIM / BIM360 is desirable but not essential and can be taught
- Must be confident in using Microsoft Office
- Essential: You must have a clean criminal record and be willing to undergo background checks and drugs tests due to security requirements of the projects we work on.
- This is a permanent role. Ongoing assignments will be subject to project availability and the candidate’s flexibility to travel or relocate.
