Job Summary
Site Survey Technician role performing site surveys for solar and HVAC installations across New England, collecting site and HVAC information, evaluating existing HVAC systems, documenting electrical and structural details, gathering data on roof conditions and shading, conducting FAA-approved drone operations in residential areas, taking precise measurements, and interacting with homeowners to explain the installation process, while following OSHA requirements and supporting downstream teams.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Motivated team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with customers professionally
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to transport materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work safely (OSHA standards)
- Previous solar experience is a plus
- HVAC knowledge or HVAC survey experience is strongly preferred
- Comfort with frequent travel to support New England projects
- Able to climb roofs and work with ladders and PPE
