Job Summary
Site Supervisor overseeing day-to-day operations of Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms, supervising teachers, assistants, substitutes, and aides; ensuring compliance with Head Start standards, licensing, and policy implementation; providing ongoing training and technical assistance to education staff; monitoring meal programs, data accuracy (USDA/CCFP), and documentation; coordinating substitute placement; participating in hiring, performance appraisals, and staff development; collaborating with Family Advocates and health teams; supporting program evaluation, parent engagement, and transition of children into/out of the program; ensuring confidentiality and effective communication with parents, staff, and community partners; planning monthly meetings and representing the center with community organizations; maintaining the education staffing pattern for the upcoming year and contributing to annual training plans; requires a Bachelors degree, five years of relevant experience, and a valid Florida driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field
- Five years of experience teaching preschool-age children and/or administering child development programs, and working with children with special needs
- Valid Florida driver's license
