Job Summary
Manage staff for two Colorado locations while organizing onsite contract operations and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal water quality permits. Direct project teams, provide mentoring and training to onsite managers, and lead safety, maintenance, and process optimization efforts. Maintain operational and regulatory compliance, develop budgets, and review monthly reports to drive performance and client satisfaction. Travel 10% of the time for site inspections and client meetings. Requires a Grade B Industrial Wastewater Treatment license, six years of facility experience, and proficiency with SCADA and Microsoft Suite. Includes a company vehicle and paid fuel; must reside within an hour of Winter Park, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Grade B Industrial Wastewater Treatment license for the state of Colorado
- Grade A license for the state of Colorado
- High school diploma
- 6 years of experience at an industrial water/wastewater treatment facility, or municipal water/wastewater facility public works operation, including experience in project management with responsibility for technical support and financial accountability
- 6 years working in a related field
- Understanding of industrial operations including basic fluid flow, process equipment, and control instrumentation
- Three years of experience at a supervisory level
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Valid driver's license with no major infractions
- Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams), PDF software, and SCADA
- Ability to perform daily computer skills managing various client software programs, SCADA, and data entry
- Sufficient virtual communication skills to successfully maintain operations and regulatory compliance while located remote from client sites
- Ability to read, understand, and abide by Industrial Regulations and Standards
- Ability to read, understand, abide by, and guide their team in compliance with client safety, quality, and other requirements
- Must be located within an hour of the Winter Park, CO, area
