Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract compliance by conducting regular inspections of job performance and maintaining incident reports. Manage payroll, respond to client requests, and make emergency notifications per site Post Orders. Provide direction to subordinates, handle disciplinary actions, and submit recommendations for productivity improvements and physical security surveys. Maintain overtime within preset requirements and facilitate access control system operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience with employee scheduling and payroll
- Valid Guard Card
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm panels
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
