Job Summary
Oversee daily duties of both light and heavy-duty custodians, ensuring buildings remain clean, presentable, and inviting. Train new hires, facilitate staff meetings, and maintain open communication regarding staffing, safety, and supply concerns. Secure storage areas and cleaning equipment, perform minor repairs, and report vandalism or stock shortages. Maintain quality control and foster company culture while adhering to Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS standards. Schedule Tuesday to Friday 10:30pm to 6:30am with a salary of $19 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Basic computer and smartphone knowledge with experience using MS Office programs
- Ability to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Previous supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of WHMIS and standard cleaning products, chemicals, and procedures
