Job Summary
Lead field operations on large-scale environmental remediation projects in Yellowknife, overseeing safety, quality, and productivity. Supervise crews of 10–20 operators and laborers, coordinate equipment and subcontractors, read and interpret blueprints, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with project specifications. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and project leadership to deliver safe, efficient results while maintaining site safety culture and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, and heavy equipment on active job sites
- Comfort working long shifts in physically demanding environments
- Familiarity with heavy equipment fleets including excavators, dozers, rock trucks, and compactors
- Strong understanding of earthworks processes and site grading requirements
