Job Summary
Prepare and supervise mechanical work including TIG welding and piping while managing cost estimates and quotations. Organize work permits, provide instructions to technicians and subcontractors, and monitor HSE compliance alongside daily safety inspections. Plan maintenance for machinery and installations, coordinate overall work activities, and control working hours within budgeted limits. Report progress to the project manager, manage material returns, and complete incident reporting forms for emergencies. Maintain clean, safe workplaces adhering to customer safety regulations and site rules. Act as the primary contact between GEA and the customer.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical training and experience
- Knowledge of TIG welding
- Knowledge of thin-wall piping systems
- Knowledge of the food industry
- VCA-VOL (Safety Certificate for Operational Supervisors)
- Experience with leading teams on site
- Willingness to work on different customer locations within the Netherlands
- Willingness to work in Belgium
