Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract compliance by conducting regular inspections, managing overtime levels, and responding to client requests. Direct subordinates through performance instructions, disciplinary actions, and commendation decisions while maintaining incident reports and security surveys. Make recommendations for productivity improvements, cost reductions, and physical security adjustments to management. Compile and interpret data to assess critical issues and mediate conflicts effectively.
Required Qualifications
- EMT Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Ability to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
