Job Summary
Supervise daily security and access control activities at MDA facilities while leading and mentoring security personnel to ensure mission success. Ensure compliance with all MDA security policies, procedures, and contract requirements by coordinating access control operations for employees, contractors, visitors, and special events. Monitor operational performance, maintain security readiness, and respond to security incidents and emergency management activities. Manage schedules, personnel accountability, and post coverage requirements while preparing reports, maintaining records, and supporting leadership with operational updates. Serve as a key liaison between security personnel, government representatives, and stakeholders. Requires a BS/BA in security or management, six years of management experience, and a Secret security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a BS/BA degree in security, law enforcement, or management related fields
- Six (6) years management experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization
- Eight (8) years' experience in security or law enforcement administration and substantial operations experience in the armed forces, security, police, or civilian equivalent or related field
- Six (6) of which is at the supervisory level
- Six (6) years of progressively responsible general experience gained in analytical decision making and administrative work and activities at the executive management level
- Six (6) years of specialized experience directly related to the work performed in physical security or law enforcement
- Must have prior experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor
- Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of entire Microsoft Office suite
