Job Summary
Formulate the annual execution plan for maintenance and production of major end items and secondary components for complex ground weapon systems. Plan, organize, and oversee operational programs for programming, budgeting, and logistics activities while coordinating with maintenance directorates at other installations. Monitor mission performance metrics including labor hours, yield, and budget compliance to recommend program adjustments and ensure cost conformance. Establish internal controls for government resource management and adjust employee schedules within 48 hours of workload changes. Serve as the on-site interface with officials and the Procuring Contracting Officer, appraising work progress against established schedules and budgets. Ensure operations comply with Department of Defense regulations and maintain liaison for improving production efficiency.

- Minimum ten (10) years of management experience in Army maintenance/production and logistics operations
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience with financial management
- Knowledge of Army Depot Information Systems
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years' documented management experience managing 50+ personnel
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred with five (5) years' experience in Army maintenance/production and logistics operations
- Requires mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of military maintenance systems
- Written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management role
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
- Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
- Site Supervisor is required to be on-site
