Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract compliance by conducting regular performance inspections, managing overtime levels, and responding to client requests. Direct subordinates through daily instruction, mediate conflicts, and make recommendations for disciplinary actions or commendations. Compile incident reports, prepare security surveys, and submit productivity and cost-reduction proposals to management. Maintain minimal overtime while ensuring all required training and screening elements are met for security staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Ability to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of two years verifiable and successful supervisory experience in the security industry
- At least 21 years of age, or higher if required by the state
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
