Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract compliance by conducting regular inspections of job performance and maintaining overtime within preset requirements. Manage payroll, review incident reports, and prepare security surveys and post orders. Respond to client requests, make emergency notifications, and direct subordinates on duty performance. Evaluate situations to identify critical issues, mediate conflicts, and make recommendations for disciplinary actions or commendations. Compile data to assess productivity and propose cost reduction strategies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Ability to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
