Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the security function on-site, including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract-required training and screening elements are met while maintaining overtime to minimal or preset requirements. Regularly inspect security personnel and their job performance to ensure quality of service and contract compliance. Perform operations such as payroll, review incident reports, and assist in preparing security surveys and post orders. Make recommendations for personnel actions, productivity improvements, and cost reductions to management. Respond to client requests and make emergency notifications as necessary. Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding duty performance and handle disciplinary or commendation decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an active Department of Defense Clearance
- Must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
