Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of on-site security function including staffing, scheduling, and training for assigned personnel. Ensure contract-required training and screening are met while maintaining overtime within preset limits. Conduct regular inspections of security personnel and job performance to ensure quality and compliance. Respond to client requests, make emergency notifications per site Post Orders, and provide direction to subordinates. Make recommendations for personnel actions, physical security surveys, and cost reduction initiatives. Compile and interpret incident reports and security data.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
