Job Summary
Site Supervisor overseeing maintenance and operations of AGL’s grid-scale battery fleet at Tomago, leading development of BESS service/repair schedules and operational management plans, coordinating with engineers, operators and technicians, managing contractor systems, performing site-based audits, overseeing permit-to-work processes, and ensuring timely BESS maintenance. Requires a trade qualification in electrical discipline and HV switching certificate, HV switching experience, proficiency with SCADA and maintenance/permitting systems, ability to lead on-site with multiple priorities, and NSW Driver’s License. Demonstrated risk management and the ability to manage contractors and stakeholders in a dynamic energy environment; role located at Tomago NSW with potential alignment to Newcastle site for related facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification in electrical discipline
- High Voltage switching operations certificate
- HV Switching experience
- NSW Driver's License
- Experience in permit creation and workflow management
- Demonstrated risk management experience including hazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation/preventative control awareness
