Job Summary
Execute project plans by supervising and directing all site staff and subcontractors while ensuring efficient use of labour, machinery, and materials. Review, organize, and maintain pertinent site documents, including detailed Daily Reports, and manage compliance with Health and Safety requirements, record keeping, and COR certification standards. Advise senior management on potential problems, work interferences, or schedule concerns to assist in resolving them. Assist in developing safe job procedures, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness plans. Maintain a professional attitude with excellent communication skills, working independently and managing time flexibly as the project schedule demands.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience working as a construction site superintendent
- Post-secondary education in a construction related program
- Extensive ICI related experience
- Gold Seal Certified
- Experience with the IHSA COR certification program
- Professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Solid computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as the project schedule demands
