Job Summary
Coordinate project execution by supervising site staff and subcontractors while ensuring efficient use of labor, machinery, and materials. Manage daily operations through the review and organization of site documents, maintenance of detailed Daily Reports, and adherence to Health and Safety and COR certification requirements. Advise senior management on potential problems, interferences, or schedule concerns to facilitate resolution. Maintain compliance with safe job procedures, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness plans. This role requires 7+ years of construction experience, Gold Seal certification, and the ability to work nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience working as a construction site superintendent
- Post-secondary education in a construction related program
- Extensive ICI related experience
- Gold Seal Certified
- Experience with the IHSA COR certification program
- Professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Solid computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as the project schedule demands
- MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
