Job Summary
Site Superintendent for Perimeter Security leading field operations nationwide. Responsibilities include directing installation crews (3–5 personnel) and coordinating subcontractors; project planning, scheduling, site layout, benchmark verification, and field measurements; overseeing excavation, rebar, formwork, concrete placement, and equipment anchorage; ensuring work aligns with contract documents, manufacturer specs, and project schedules; coordinating with owners, government representatives, general contractors, inspectors, manufacturers, and security integrators; leading commissioning activities, owner training, and project turnover. Oversees installation and commissioning of crash-rated and passive vehicle barriers, gates, access control systems, turnstiles, perimeter fencing, and related security components. Supports estimating and preconstruction by reviewing drawings, SOWs, RFPs, performing quantity takeoffs with Bluebeam Revu, developing material quantities, assisting with labor/EPU planning, and pricing. Maintains quality control documentation, conducts inspections, and coordinates with government QA representatives and third-party inspectors. Emphasizes safety leadership with daily JHAs and OSHA compliance. Cadre requires U.S. citizenship, extensive travel, and experience with high-security perimeter systems across federal/embassy/data center projects.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Minimum 7 years of experience in civil construction, structural concrete, industrial construction, perimeter security, gate systems, or related trades
- Minimum 3 years of experience supervising field crews and construction operations
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and site utility drawings
- Experience with concrete foundations, excavation, equipment anchorage, and mechanical installations
- Experience performing construction quantity takeoffs and estimating support activities
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and construction documentation software
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States
