Job Summary
Collaborate with Estimating and Sales teams to review job plans, stock lists, and scope of work, proactively communicating and addressing changes. Manage and oversee multiple job sites and field crews simultaneously, ensuring projects progress on schedule and within budget. Provide strong leadership to foremen, reviewing project plans and schedules while walking jobs weekly to offer problem-solving assistance and ensure consistent service quality. Track job progress, monitor crew performance, document issues, and maintain records of schedule adjustments and material changes. Ensure all materials, manpower, and documentation are in place prior to job startup while adhering to company safety standards and protocols. Maintain trusted relationships with customers and General Contractors, representing the company with professionalism. Requires a valid US driver's license and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site development, construction supervision, or project management
- Proven track record of successfully managing crews, schedules, and project budgets
- Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and job specifications
- Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to walk, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of materials and tools up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable driving to and from job sites as needed
- Ability to conduct on-site walkthroughs and visual inspections of work areas
- A current and valid US driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- College or technical education in construction management or related field
- Proficient in using project management software (Buildertrend experience preferred)
- Prior use of Buildertrend or similar construction management platforms
