Job Summary
Supervise residential construction of single-family homes by planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, and controlling site activities from start to finish according to design, budget, and schedule. Maintain daily logs of operations, strategically manage subcontractors and staff, and enforce safety requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Resolve onsite issues and emergencies while ensuring project quality meets company standards and tracking material stock and equipment maintenance. Prepare progress reports for clients and attend periodic office meetings to update project status.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in the residential construction industry, including supervisory, management or leadership roles
- Understanding of construction equipment use, maintenance and operation
- Comprehensive understanding of local, provincial and federal construction regulations
- A valid class five (5) driver's license
- Personal reliable transportation
- Criminal Records Check to the company's satisfaction
- A clean drivers abstract
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate computer competencies, specifically with Microsoft Office and iOS
