Job Summary
Site Software Applications Engineer (Long Term Quality Intern) at BorgWarner Izmir Plant. Lead and develop Power Platform solutions including Dataverse, Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and SharePoint to support critical manufacturing shop floor processes. Design, build, configure and maintain end-to-end custom shop floor apps; create and maintain Power BI dashboards for actionable analytics; design automated workflows and integrations; collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements; provide day-to-day software support for manufacturing operations; identify opportunities to leverage Microsoft 365/Office 365/SharePoint; communicate designs and progress to customers and team members; perform testing and ensure quality; stay up-to-date with Power Platform features; comply with safety rules; perform other IT tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Quality or related field
- Willingness to grow in knowledge base
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of relational database technologies
- Ability to work with others and independently with minimal supervision for at least 6 months
