Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise a labor force of 50+ workers on commercial/industrial construction sites, ensuring site readiness and effective task execution as directed by the GC superintendent team. Responsibilities include staffing, on-site labor coordination, basic carpentry support, safety culture reinforcement, time reporting, progress tracking, and liaison with GC leadership and Operations for manpower planning. Strong communication, organizational, and bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities are valued for coordinating field crews and maintaining site readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of field experience in commercial or industrial construction; prior supervision of large labor crews strongly preferred.
- Carpentry background required.
- Proven ability to coordinate a labor workforce safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project expectations.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Comfortable using basic technology for reporting, time tracking, and communication.
- Must be able to lift 60+ lbs and work on active construction sites, including exposure to heights, weather conditions, noise, and jobsite hazards.
- Willingness to travel depending on project location.
