Job Summary
Security Site Supervisor role overseeing on-site security staff at Centre Place in Hamilton. Responsibilities include leading security operations, supervising CCTV, access control, alarms, and incident reporting; coordinating emergency responses; maintaining health and safety and compliance; reporting incidents; and building relationships with centre management, tenants, and external stakeholders. Focus on people leadership, training and development, and delivering a safe, welcoming retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years’ experience in a people leadership or supervisory role, ideally within security, retail, facilities, events, hospitality, or a related environment
- Current NZ COA licence, or equivalent leadership experience within the security sector
- Proven ability to manage day‐to‐day operations in small to medium client environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse groups
- Sound knowledge of security best practice, compliance, health and safety, and risk management
- Confidence in incident reporting, documentation, and use of security systems
- Clean criminal conviction record and physical capability to meet operational demands
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand and aged 18 years or over
