Job Summary
Site Security Manager at Jabil responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive site security programs and policies to protect assets, personnel, and information. Leads security personnel, conducts risk assessments and audits, manages security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarms), investigates incidents, liaises with local law enforcement, delivers security training, manages budget, ensures compliance with security standards (CTPAT, TAPA, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements, coordinates emergency response, and conducts background checks per policy. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4-7 years of progressive security management experience with leadership experience in manufacturing or corporate environments; knowledge of security technologies and strong communication and analytical skills; CPP/PSP desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience in security management
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or corporate environment
- Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs and policies
- Strong knowledge of security technologies (access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems)
- Excellent understanding of security best practices, risk assessment methodologies, and incident response protocols
- Familiarity with security regulations and standards (CTPAT, TAPA, ISO 27001)
- Demonstrated leadership and team-management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant security certifications (CPP, PSP) are highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies
- Fraud awareness and safe recruitment practices
