Job Summary
The Site Safety Specialist is responsible for conducting daily site inspections, enforcing safety policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company safety standards, and participating in project handoffs. This role requires strong knowledge of OSHA standards, ability to document and communicate findings effectively, and experience in delivering safety training. The position mandates OSHA 510 and NFPA 70E certifications, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in coordinating safety on large construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating safety on large construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and other applicable safety regulations
- OSHA 510 and NFPA 70E certifications required
- Must meet NFPA 70E – Electrical Safety Qualified Person standards
- Strong ability to document, track, and manage safety records and incident reports
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable using web-based safety software and databases
- Able to deliver effective safety training to small and large groups
