Job Summary
Provide safe working conditions for all workers, sub-trades, and visitors on the site. Conduct regular on-site hazard assessments to identify hazards and unsafe work practices, then provide recommendations for elimination. Undertake investigations of accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine underlying causes and complete necessary documentation forms immediately. Deliver instructions on safe work procedures and personal protective equipment usage, while conducting in-house safety training. Report anticipated loss of work time to the Safety Manager promptly after injuries occur. Collaborate with supervisory personnel to address safety violations and develop safety policies. Perform daily administration of the Safety Program. Full-time temporary role with wages ranging from $32.00 to $40.00 per hour based on skill set and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience on a residential construction site
- 1-5 years Safety Experience
- Computer skills with experience using software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work
- Valid First Aid
