Job Summary

Site Safety Manager to prevent workplace accidents by establishing a culture of health and safety, evaluating practices, and facilitating risk and adherence assessments. Responsibilities include maintaining safety policies per OSHA standards, planning training programs for supervisors, conducting site inspections, preparing safety plans and JSAs, coordinating worksite assessments, compiling safety reports, investigating incidents with project teams, implementing corrective actions, managing return-to-work programs, and maintaining safety records and inventory (including SDS and chemical inventory). Requires willingness to travel; BCSP certification within 3 years is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field or equivalent experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Willing or able to obtain BCSP certification within 3 years
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or 5 years experience in a safety-related field (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to travel out of town and/or out of state to job sites
  • Knowledgeable in Grading Operations, Trenching and Excavation, Municipal Projects or Army Corps of Engineers
