Job Summary
Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs in line with OSHA, HAZWOPER, and EM-385-1-1 standards; prepare detailed method statements and maintain all health and safety documentation; conduct routine health and safety inspections and audits; investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions; train staff on safety procedures and compliance; maintain compliance records and submit reports as required; duties include office work and field safety inspections; emergencies may require out-of-hours response.
Required Qualifications
- Secret Clearance required.
- Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or current certification in OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER 40, EM-385-1-1.
- Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) Level 1.
- Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience in safety roles on major industrial or construction projects.
- Minimum five (5) years as a Safety Inspector.
